good purchases. especially H20. classic. I only had one best of album by Hall & Oates, and I went for the one with "Maneater" and "Family Man". But I'm planning on getting "Private Eyes", "Voices" and "Big Bam Boom" very soon. Bought some other great 80s music this week: Prince & The Revolution - Purple Rain Soundtrack Robert Palmer - Riptide Bryan Ferry - Boys & Girls Sade - Diamond Life Public Image Ltd - This is what you want...This is what you get XTC as The Dukes of Stratosphear - 25 O'Clock XTC as The Dukes of Stratosphear - Psonic Psunspot

Groovy! These guys could really play and that bass is incredible. I guess I should go for their 80s stuff first and then later go through the earlier material they did in the 70s. Today I have been going through both the mini album and the full length by "The Dukes of Stratosphear" and XTC should really have made more psychedelic stuff as the Dukes. Some brilliant gems on their first ep "25 O'clock' (1985)". My favorite so far is The Red Curtains (Colin Moulding) "What in the world" and Sir John Johns (Andy Partridge) "Mole from the Ministry"

CD Van Morrison - Into the Music ZZ Top - Eliminator (2008 Remastered 2-Disc Collector's Edition)
I have always loved the mix of chilling synths along with the raw sound of those slapping bass licks used in this record and I don't understand why Texas finest haven't played Thug more often live.

Finally got the 2012 double CD version released by FSM: Silver Age Classics, of Body Heat (1981) by the great John Barry. It was one of the more expensive music purchases I have bought but it was well worth it. I have always enjoyed this kind of music. Cool, soothing/sleazy saxophone-night-jazz driven soundtracks from the late 70s and early 80s, and Barry sure did some of his best work on this one:
