Golan Globas gives us another enjoyable Bronson action vehicle, Charlie plays cop who drinks too much, is trigger happy and has just got a divorce. Suddenly Bronson's finds himself in a cat and mouse game with somebody who`s framed him for a murder he hasn`t committed. Overall, it`s a good laugh but my main complaint is the chick Bronson is cuffed to is pretty annoying. Lots of "Hey`s" too.

I can say that I had no idea where the plot was going so it was entertaining throughout. Bronson still delivers.

Theress only one law i know, and that's Jack Murphy's law. Its a very simple one: Don't fuck with Jack Murphy!

I love the "Hey!" when the girl steals Bronson's car. One of the best "Heys!" of his career, in my opinion.

It happen`s the be my favorite one, I think it`s excellent that it`s Bronson`s first line of the film too. "Hey! Hey! That`s my car!"

My local comic shop has a laserdisc of this for $3. I'm going to pick it up one of these days just for collector's purposes. Hopefully I'll be getting a laserdisc player sometime next month. *Edit* Here's the trailer I ripped from my DVD some months ago:

This is my favorite Bronson flick outside of Death Wish 3. Awesome action, original story, and Bronson doing what he does best make it a real winner. I love this one so much I have two copies on VHS. ;D

Hate to resurrect an old topic, but I didn't feel like name-dropping. I just bought this last night and finally watched it--not that bad. Not as good as 10 to Midnight, but pretty damn good. Love the action, along with Bronson's stripper-wife and hard-drinking, but the girl he's with irritates me with all those obscure name callings. Sounds like something out of a Roald Dahl book.
Side note: I noticed that this flick uses almost the same crew in DW4.

No need to apologize about digging this up. It's discussion & that's what this place is for.
I need to revisit this soon as well as the other three movies in the Bronson action pack I bought last year. I still haven't seen Messenger of Death, actually despite it being in that pack.

It's pretty good, but the girl is a bit too irritating, despite having a certain novelty factor, for this to really be top drawer Bronson. 10 To Midnight and Kinjite are a lot better in my book.

Does anyone know of any other really good J. Lee Thompson/Charles Bronson collaborations other than this, 10 to Midnight, and DW4? On a side note, probably my favorite part, other than Bronson's big karate kick, is the chase through the airport. The crook just blows out his hostage's brains and Chuck shoots him right through a big glass pane. Classic dirty harry-style justice.

Kinjite is another Thompson/Bronson collaboration. I wasn't too keen on The White Buffalo to be honest. The others I haven't seen.

Thanks! I'll be sure to look around for Kinjite after I get my next paycheck, seeing as Murphy's Law and Mr. Majestyk cost me $18 each. I wasn't too keen on The White Buffalo to be honest. I actually quite liked that one--especially Bronson's odd haircut and sunglasses. Reminded me a bit of Death Hunt, but I'm not sure why.

Damn that's pretty expensive for barebones MGM Bronson DVDs. Did you get them at the store or are they just getting rare? I haven't checked them on Amazon lately.
I bought the Bronson Action Pack set that had 10 to Midnight, Kinjite, Murphy's Law, & Messenger of Death for around $30 brand new off Amazon last year.
