"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today, still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune. If you have a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the A-Team." This is my absolute all time favourite TV show. Sure the episodes were silly and formulaic but damned if it didn't kick a ton of ass. Is there anyone who doesn't get "on the jazz" while watching it? Can any of you say in all honesty that you don't love it when a plan comes together? And how many of you have ever told someone that you weren't gettin on no plane sucka!? The A-Team represents 80's action awesomeness in TV form. After it was cancelled we had to wait until 24 for a show that was anywhere near as action packed. I've got seasons 1-4 on DVD and sooner or later I'll pick up the inferior 5th season to complete the set. Memories of the show? Favourite episodes? Gripes? Lets hear em.

despite being exactly the same each episode, i could merrily watch episodes of this for hours. my favourite episode is from the first series when they have to get a load of watermelons to harvest in the face of the usual stetson wearing corrupt officials.
timeless entertainment.

Like Dynasty and Dallas, I don't think I missed an episode in years. I even remember watching the very first pilot episode with my gran. Haven't seen any since!

Did purchase all the dvds last christmas, but there seems to be some kind of troble with some of the dvd discs. After i read a couple of reviews on Amazon.com, from what i understand, im not alone, but a classic like The A-Team deserves better dvd quality treatment, i want some godamn special features, comments, beind the scenes and etc, not just some trailers for Knight Rider! Anyway, i always loved Murdock and his love/hate relationship with B.A. The episode when Murdock gets shot after taking a bullet for Hannibal, its my favourite. I dont remember what the name of the episode, but it features 3 of the best 80s bad guys, Donald Gibb, Denis Franz and Brion James.

The best part of any episode was the teaser before the credits that gave you a taste of what to expect later in the episode. You could tell when it was going to be a good one when there were lots of cars flipping over. Bonus points if they were on fire!
The episode with Donald Gibb and Brion James was "The Taxicab Wars" which is widely held to be the best episode. It also stars Michael Ironside. See you at the party Richter!

How could i forgot Michael Ironside , yes, Taxicab Wars was a great episode. One of the best moments is right after Hannibal and Murdock are chased by a helicopter full of bad guys. They lure the bad guys into an moutain clip, and then their copter crashes and burst into flames, and falls down, but suddenly out of the wreckage, all the bad guys comes out unharmed ready to do another round. ;D

No - I remember one episode when they went back to 'Nam. Hannibal shot a rocket launcher into a hut where the baddie general was hiding.

I think that's the same episode. Season 4 finale, The Sound of Thunder. I'll have to watch it again to see if that happens.

The A-Team documentary "Bring Back The A-Team" is very good, and i was very surprised the way Dwight Schultz took it, when he suddenly was "jumped" by some british lunatic, when he was busy with work. He could have gone berserk and gotten 20 gorillas to throw the tv team out of the building, but he was alright, and it seemed that he had a good time. A true professional, like

I think that's one of the points that the show's critics missed. The writing and acting HAD to be amazing, to keep people interested in watching the same story every week. Hell, the series is widely regarded as jumping the shark when they tried doing something different.

I just picked up season 5 which completes the set for me. Then I went back to my hotel and found out that they wouldn't let me hook up my DVD player to watch them. So I went to Sears and bought a cheap TV which I returned 3 days later before I left town.
I love it when a plan comes together.
