about Dan's ground and pound, don't forget Silva has black belt under Nogueira. I take Silva but it will be a battle. Yeah,Dan has to be careful on the ground.Silva is dangerous on his back.I like Silva so I'm not disappointed, if Henderson loses. Let's hope that the fight will be epic battle

Anyone catch the fights? Also, which of you London Boys is getting your tickets for Chuck "The Nice Man" Liddell's appearance in June? If he isn't fighting Silva, Ortiz, Machida or Jardine, who is he going to be fighting?! All those boys are fighting the month before.

shogun. apparently.
the bigger question is - who will stop anderson? no one in the current middleweight division is anywhere near him. its GSP or a move up to LHW.

Anderson is too slick. I can't see him moving down. He is too skinny already. Moving up would be a mistake. Let others come to him. He can just sit there for years wearing his crown!
Shogun vs Liddell will be a battle too far for Chuck. I might get a front row seat and catch his teeth. A non ring rusty Shogun is a tougher prospect than Wanderlei. Sharper striking (usually) amazing cardio and better submissions.

haven't watched yet. I am going to light this blunt and check it out, also I only clicked on your post Will, the one from the new 20.
I know nothing and have been avoiding this thread since the fight because it's really the not knowing... that I love the most.

It wasn't the epic battle I was hoping for,but Anderson Silva is truly a great champion and will remain champion for a long time.
It was good to see Arlovski again.Too bad the fight was boring as shit. Okami was too hard match for Tanner, who has mainly been drinking beer for two years.

No Shogun. Who does that leave, apart from Forrest?

Tonight LC and I are going into the lion's den of Cage Rage to see Ken Shamrock amongst others, throw down for a baying crowd of coked up football hooligans.
What a great first meeting!

sick, how was the fight? I dislike Shamrock as a person but he can hold it down. loved the Silva fight, sure it was short but who else has taken him to the third round? no dick riding because I loved Silva since I saw his first UFC fight. again in this fight he did the move that helps us skinny guys when we are on our backs. hooking your legs above their waist and just squeezing the fuck out of 'em. did it on my boy after stealing the move from one of Silva's earlier fights and within a few seconds my boy was gassed. and he is heavyweight, I'm just a middle. my favorite moment of the night... I have the whole take down in pics, can anyone recommend a good gif maker? doesn't matter if it's free or costs money, I got ways around that shit.

cage rage was hilarious. will and i arrived already half cut and pretty stoned and proceeded to accidentally upgrade our seats by around 100 quid. shamrock (as is the norm) got beaten down and destroyed inside of a very short time. the whole place was packed with bouncers. we also bumped into the victor of the only all female fight of the night. this bird: video.google.co.uk/videoplay?docid=1618360761168125025&q=aisling+daly&total=10&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=5a pink haired lesbian, who scowled menacingly at me. i have no real firm memories of the aftermath of the event, we somehow ended up in a bar in old street. i have no idea how i got home, but photos exist somehwhere.

It was fucking comedy!
The lesbo may have took offence when I walked passed her and her mates and said in a jokey way "so what's with all the pink ladies bullshit?!" Some people just don't get it.
No idea how I got home, but I must have pulled at some point. I think I lost you in the Old Blue Last and stumbled into some unfortunate!

Had a great session yesterday - pure sparring, vale tudo style.
Went through a load of Brazilians, stuffing their takedowns and falling into side control. They all tapped after about 10 seconds of the old knees, elbows and hammerfists.
This is the only sport worth doing, apart from Tennis.

Another early private session yesterday - mainly escapes to submissions. Learnt to escape side control to an omoplata.
Nice! Chenny - you should come along and try it out.
