this is my favourite comedy show. i used to watch this daily at university. its not only the main characters in it that are funny. every episode had some random auxilliary priests.

Even though there were only about twenty episodes made, Irish television have been showing Father Ted every week for the past ten years!!

The episode where they have to escape from the lingerie department is hard to beat.

One of my favourite TV shows ever. Utterly brilliant. There's always the wee random bits you forget about when you've not seen an episode for a while: Dougal running into the room reading a newspaper: "Ted! Ted! It says here that Clint Eastwood has been sent to jail for a crime he didn't...oh, hang on it's just a film"

Father Ted was just awesome. Probably the best Irish export there is. (Bono's a twat and Guiness tastes like earwax).

I liked Father Ted. and of course thought Father Hackett was absolutely brilliant.
feck! girls!
I liked it so much that I tracked down the Region 1 set (no easy feat) and snatched it up like a crack fiend snatches up loose change.
