Another one of Eddie Murphy's top films. Also directed by John Landis, who also directed Trading Places & Beverly Hills Cop III. This movie has a lot of memorable things in it. The "Yes! Yes! Fuck you too!" balcony scene, the naked bather ladies, Arsenio Hall's triangle-shaped head, Eddie & Arsenio playing numerous hilarious characters, John Amos being so happy that he wants to breakdance, John Amos' hamburger phone, jheri curls, Louie "Lettuce Cleaner" Anderson, Samuel L. Jackson as a hold-up man, Vondie Curtis-Hall's other greatest role next to Die Hard 2, "Rocky Marciano! Rocky Marciano!," special appearance by the Duke brothers from Trading Places as bums, & finally: "Do not alert him to my presence. I'll deal with him myself." Landlord: Hey Stu, your rent's due motherfucker! Now don't be pulling that falling down the stairs shit on me again, you hear! Now you conscious! Every month, the same damn thang. One of my childhood favorites that to this day, is one of the greatest comedies ever made. James Earl Jones was great in this as well
What the fuck happened to Eddie Murphy? He's a shadow of his former self
