With a heavy heart I report the passing of a comedy legend. Mr. George Carlin left the world he so loved to criticize last night due to heart failure. He was 71 years old. He has been my all-time favorite comedian since I was 11 and caught one of his HBO stand-ups while staying up late one night. They guy was absolutely hilarious and brilliant and truly one-of-a-kind, there shall never be another. RIP Mr. Carlin, and may Joe bless you

Rest in peace, my favorite comedian. You will never be forgotten.
As a matter of fact, I own one of his records. Maybe I'll listen to that tonight in memoriam.

Rest in peace, George.
One of the all-time greats in comedy.
Did anyone ever watch the short-lived George Carlin Show on Fox in the early 1990s? That show was hilarious. It should've ran for many seasons.

I watched it, it was awesome. My most vivid memory of it was when his son showed up and the running joke as "I'm not gay, I'm a flight attendant."

I loved his profession on the show: foul-mouthed cab driver. Alex Rocco was fucking awesome as well on the show.

That sucks that he died. I haven't seen too much of his stuff but what I have was hilarious.
