Anyone ever seen these '70s TV movies? I've heard a lot about them. They were a major influence on The X-Files' creator Chris Carter.

Yeah, they actually turned it into a TV Series called Kolchak: The Night Stalker. One of the best TV shows in my book. I have seen the Complete Series on DVD. Definitely Recommend it to anyone.

Kolchak is the man. The two films and series are absolutely worth watching for anyone on this board.

The TV Series is definitely worth picking up. Great episodes about Jack the Ripper, A werewolf on a Cruise ship, and Richard Kiel as a giant Native American who murders for jewels call for an all out good time.

Murdering for jewels sounds like an awesome career. Your jewels. Give them to me. Now.

UK station ITV played the TV movies in the '70s. My local one Granada showed The Night Stalker in July 1985 on a Sunday night. As a 6 year old, how fun that would have been to watch it. This is Kolchak's bird in Night Stalker. She was a bit of alright.

My local FYE has the double feature DVD for about $15. Might pick it up sometime if I have any extra trade.
