This film is stupid beyond belief, it`s one of those film`s that really needs to be seen to be believed.
The highlight`s include...
* The main villain Fender wearing a chain-mail vest!
* The set`s look like some kind of homo art deco fantasy.
* Van Damme`s character`s name is Gibson Rickenbacker.
* The opening narration in which Fender shout`s in the middle of it for no reason what so ever.
* The Villain`s name is Fender, but I honestly thought it was Bender due to the way The mussels from Brussels pronounces it though-out the film.
*The end fight scene`s in the rain and consist`s of our hero and villain shouting "AHHHHHH!" "RAWWWW!" "OOOOOH!" Over and over again, they`re the sort of noises you`d make during a rectal exam.
I miss Cannon films.

I recently read an article regarding this movie, and how director Albert Pyun originally wanted this movie to be a dialogue-less, black and white rock opera, but that plan fell through. Apparently he's pushing MGM to let him release the director's cut on dvd.

Yeah, I heard that.
I think Albert Pyun`s clinically insane, but man he makes entertaining crap.

Nady (Deborah Richter) was a fine 80's babe. Sometimes she reminded me a bit of Shakira in Cyborg. I always liked the sequel as well. Jack Palance is hilarious here and steals the show in the end. Angelina Jolie's best film role and Elias Koteas kick ass. It also stars Billy Drago along with Sven-Ole Thorsen. Very funny and entertaining b-movie.

Those clips are very interesting, I can understand why the studio got cold feet a cut it themselves though, his version seemed alot more artsy. Here`s the epic Cyborg tralier.
