After having to sit through another dreadful business meeting, Neal Page (Steve Martin) only wants to get home and enjoy Thanksgiving with his family.
But his plan goes to pieces when someone steals his cab.
This is just the tip of the iceberg as Neil is about to learn that his journey home to Chicago might be a bit longer than first expected.
And when things couldn't get any worse, then along comes the loudmouthed shower curtain salesman Del Griffith (John Candy).
The best John Hughes movie and certainly one the finest comedies of all time.
John Candy should have won an academy award for his role as Del Griffith.
