In a bleak vision of the future we meet the lonely dreamer Sam Lowry (Jonathan Pryce), an office clerk who is daily surrounded in a chaos of numbers and expectations and where the residents has to live in fear of the daily raids made by their brutal government.
What nobody knows is that Sam is about to break the rules and creates his own anti-hero who lives in a colorful world full of possibilities and life and where the woman of his dreams lives.
But when the woman he loves suddenly appears in Sam's hectic and grey everyday, he begins to question what is real and what is imagination.
Terry Gilliam's "Brazil" is one of the most beautiful and impressive sci-fi movies of the 80s and is a must see if you enjoyed "Blade Runner" or "1984".
