Just a quick question, ive just been looking through some actors filmographys online, and one of the Bloodsport fighters was Victor Wong aka Egg-Shen from BTILC, its definatly the Van Damme Bloodsport as hes credited on IMDB, i just cant picture him in the movie atall and have skipped through the scenes on my DVD to try and spot him, but no joy. Can anyone shine any light on who he was in the movie? He must of been an old man in Bloodsport as it was two years after Big Trouble. He is credited as 'Fighter'

Slater knew how to play heavy metal. I was looking on this site but it does not show a picture of Victor Wong. www.aveleyman.com/FilmCredit.aspx?FilmID=2068Next time I watch Bloodsport, I'll have to look for him.

Bloodsport has always been a favorite of mine. I tend to leave it on the DVD player on repeat all day, since if you leave the main menu alone it starts by itself. Same with Lethal Weapon.
One of my favorite moments is when Van Damme fights the huge guy and smashes his chest with his palm, then does a split and drives the guy's balls into his throat. A fantastic moment in Van Damme's career IMO.

Far too many great things to say about this film that I don't even know where to start!
- Honestly, if you're not sucked in by the training sequence of all the various martial artists during the opening credits then I don't know what's wrong with you.
- The opening exchange between the overdubbed Colonel and the Private in the army base:
Colonel: Wherezdukes?
Private: He took a shower. I waited. He disappeared.
Colonel: Whaddayoumeanhedissappeared?!
Private: One minute he was there, the next he wasn't.
Colonel: Jeezuskristifanythinghappenztodukesinhongkong! Get Helmer and Rawlins on this right away and Idunwannaseeyourfaceagainuntildukesizbesideit, understand?!
- The stellar performance put in by Pierre Rafini as Young Frank. Why he never landed another acting gig is beyond me!:
Young Frank: You're not going to call the karps?
Tanaka: Mmm, not if we make a deal.
Young Frank: What kind of a dill?
- Bolo Yeung as Chong Li. Bolo Yeung was about 50 years old when he turned in this performance where everything he says is pretty much a paraphrased line spoken by Bruce Lee in "Enter the Dragon".
- Victor Lin and his tracksuits.
- OK USA!
- Stan Bush and montages = winning combination.
- Jackson smashing a brick over his head.
- Hossein and his "You lose American asshole" gold tooth grin.
The list could go on forever ...

How does this thread have so little replys?
"I love you my friend" - perhaps the gayest line of VD's career.
Was this the first appearance of VD's signiture line 'Truss me'??
