One of my absolute favorite Van Damme films, which also stars Al Leong and the guy that played Paco in another JCVD hit, Bloodsport, as well as Patrick Kilpatrick playing the villain Christian "The Sandman" Nailer. God bless his crazy self. THE PLOT: Van Damme is officer Louis Burke a rougish police detective who goes undercover to investigate of series of inmate murders at Harrison Penitentiary. Posing as a prisoner, Burke encounters brutal inmates, corrupt guards, death and betrayel at every turn. But when he unearths the shocking secret behind the penitentiary's inner workings, Burke must attempt a daring escape that pits him against not only hundreds of murderous inmates...but also a deadly enemy from his own past. The final fight with Christian "Sandman" Nailer is so brilliantly over-the-top. I reccommend it to all Van Damme fans.

Al leong as bruce and paulo tocha (paco from bloodsport) is a excellent combination as bad guys. This is a great vintage JCVD movie i love it. This is Bruce, he likes to kick shit out of white trash like you puto! Also Carlos 'Diaz' cervantes stars an inmate

Also Carlos 'Diaz' cervantes stars an inmate Ah, yes, the actor who never stands on camera. In Commando and Marked for the Death sits and in Death Warrant, he leans forward on a rail. Will he ever stand straight? One thing I love about this movie is how the cover and the title of the film have absolutely NOTHING to do with the rest of the whole flick. Oh, and Patrick Kilpatrick's inhuman screams and otherworldly noises when he rolls around in flames at the ending. Truly a great, unusual actor. Like Gary Busey, only without the "heh-ha!" expression.

Send me a DREAM, Burke. Send me a DREAM. The fight at the end was amazing. Especially when the GIANT wrench gets thrown at Van Damme. That thing was ten times the size of Van Damme!
For some reason though I just didn't like this movie. I found it boring and unbelievable for the most part. The end was worth seeing though. Normally I love Van Damme, but this I found one of his weakest.
Its awesome that there is a place to talk about these movies though and its cool that other people got enjoyment from this. Van Damme rules!
