No order from me either, it's too tricky to decide.
1. Commando 2. First Blood 3. The Running Man 4. The Terminator 5. Predator 6. Cobra 7. Licence To Kill 8. First Blood Part II 9. Highlander 10. Robocop

There's never been much love for Lethal Weapon on this/the old board it seems. its just too well made for me. not as funny as cobra and lone wolf mcquade. id give it 8.5/10. the busey is the best thing about it.

I don't know how all these Van Damme movies and Chuck Norris flicks can rank ahead of movies like Lethal Weapon & Die Hard, Mad Max II.
Maybe it's because you've seen them too many times and they're too familiar.

i personally find stuff like cobra and kickboxer more enjoyable than lethal weapon. the same with commando. theyre unintentionally hilarious and have more 'cult' appeal. i have seen them many more times than ive seen stuff like lethal weapon, which i love. just a matter of taste i guess.

What the funk? No-one's mentioned Aliens yet! Off the top of my head in no particular order: Commando, Predator, Aliens, Mad Max II, Bloodsport, Robocop, Die Hard, Rambo II, The Running Man, ...is Rocky IV "action" enough? Or is it more of a sports movie?

i was going to mention aliens. in fact i should have put it on the list. id have to make my own edit of it though which had all the SE stuff MINUS all the superflous and needless bit at the beginning with newt's parents on the planet. i was also going to say rocky 4. sports

If Bloodsport & Kickboxer are action then Rocky III/IV & Karate Kid should be too.
I'm trying to put myself back in the 80's when I hadn't seen as many action flicks as I have now.
Those big ones I've mentioned, along with the Rambos, Robocop, Arnies.....I just kept renting them over and over.

I'm still a bit puzzled that Mad Max 2 doesn't get the credit I think it deserves. You ought to give it another look - not only is it brilliant but it has Vernon Wells as a psychopathic questionably-dressed homosexual!
