"Now get your ugly white ass outta here and don`t come back." Seagal does Lethal Weapon, just caught this one for the first time in a while, looking at it it`s probably Seagal`s last decent flick before his career started going south. It`s not one of my favorites of his but it`s got pretty much everything you expect from a Seagal flick. Quite entertaining. You also get too see Seagal slit some guys throats with a credit card. Sweet What do you guys think of Glimmer Man?

I can clearly remember a review on TV at the time of it's release where the viewers ripped into Seagal's jacket (not literally, of course), weight gain (the first time it was really noticeable) and suggested he must have made the film to cove alimony.
I remember it being a pretty solid routine Seagal flick with elements of the then white-hot serial killer genre. It seems to want to revert to the feel of the less mainstream films Seagal made before Under Siege but it's not up to par with those classics. But it did give us the chance to hear Steve saying; "Get your ugly white ass out of here!"

From what I remember, this movie's pretty kickass. Lots of decent Seagal action, including him tackling a kid out of one building and into another and impaling a man on bulldozer's teeth. Pretty violent.

I liked it. It's trying to be a mis-matched buddy cop movie and try for a 7even style gritty serial killer movie, but it somehow sort of works. Brian Cox is in it too. He's one of my favourite supporting character-actor types. It also has a favourite moment of Seagal violence of my friend who introduced me to Seagal movies - the bit where Seagal nonchalantly grabs the masked guy who tries to sneak up on him and throws his head through a TV

I like this movie a lot. Lord Steven kicks ass as usual and even Keenen Ivory Wyans is good in this movie(maybe because of the deer penis?)
I love the scene where Steven goes to restaurant and beats the shit out of the bad guys,in a style only Steven can. This movie contains some good action, decent plot and funny dialogue making it entertaining flick for Lord Steven fans.
Now I'm gonna suck some deer penis and watch The Glimmer Man

its got all the right seagal ingredients. but it lacks soul. Maybe Steven ate it? ;D I just watched this movie and noticed, that Steven is very relaxed in his role. He smiles more than usual and cracks some good jokes. Now days Steven's acting range is this:

I picked this up from a local second hand shop recently (this, Out For Justice, Nico and LA Confidential for a tenner), and I think it might be the last of Seagal's really decent films. There are moments when he's actually not bad as an actor. And although he's put on weight since his early days, it's not yet the problem it will become. *sigh* Those were the days.
