Dio is amazing. He is probably the best singer in metal history yet remains a very humble, nice person. He is awesome in Metal" A Headbanger's Journey. He speaks with the filmmaker at Wacken in Germany about his usage of the devil horn's and why metal fans are so passionate. He then invited the guy over to his house in LA to talk about his views on religion. He seemed ever the gracious host and was also extremely well-spoken. I'd love to have a conversation with Dio one day.

"The Last in Line" is one of my top 15 albums of the 20th century. Great title track as well. Who knew a 5'4" Italian could have such a great impact on metal? What gets under my skin is that RuthlessReviews is quoted saying "...Burton dying was the worst thing to happen to metal since Dio."

Ronnie James Dio is the fucking man. hands down the best singer in Metal, easily. and a class act. has anyone caught him killing it with Sabbath on the Heaven and Hell DVD yet? I was trippin' and it was one of those rare epiphanies that crept up slowly but was the inevitable truth... this is good music.
I grew up with Dio in my house. most kids parents listened to Billy Joel or other artist that are ball-less and complete shit. Sting comes to mind. but I was raised on Dio, Van Halen, Montrose, Zappa, Thin Lizzy, Skynyrd and R rated movies.
damn, where is that bad ass smiley that smokes when I need it?

I love Dio in Rainbow I love Dio in Sabbath I love Dio in Dio
Dio is the man. Dehumanizer by Sabbath is a criminally underrated album.
