A bit of Axl certainly wouldn't do the music world any harm. He is most definitely a twat however.

Any man who has a music video of him riding a CGI dolphin is a bloody genius in my book.

Respect to the guy for giving us Guns 'N Roses at their peak, but he's almost certainly a complete tosser in person.

Formerly a genius from the GnR days of old. Currently a twat.

I was reading some article about Chinese Democracy the other day, he's got over 50 songs recorded for it apparently.
Even if Chinese Democracy was to come out tomorrow, the time between it and Use Your Illusion is enough to fit in the entire career of the Beatles. Twice.
That indicates major twat tendencies.

It was handed over to Geffen before Christmas and now they're arguing on how to market it as nobody's buying cd's anymore.
Amazon.co.uk are taking presale orders for a March release (they did that last year too)

I think he's a twat. Stradlin was the genius of GnR imo.

Chinese Democracy has been in the pipe so long it's now screechingly obvious what a pretentious, portentous, naff title it is for an album, for anything in fact. What exactly does it mean? Nothing, I think. Preeee-eee-tentious...in the original sense of the word, not the sense as used by vulgar populists to dismiss things that they are too fucking dumb to understand.

I'm guessing the execs at Best Buy would probably say "twat". The retail chain- already hurting from the poor economy- agreed to a surprisingly foolish exclusivity deal for Chinese Democracy. They not only purchased 1.3 million copies in advance, but also agreed not to return any unsold stock to the record company. Who on earth thought this would be a good deal? It's been 17 years since a new GnR album actually mattered. No one regards the current line up as the real band. And both Axl and the album itself have become a punchline over the last 15 years. As you can probably guess, Chinese Democracy debuted with a thud and has quickly fallen down the charts. online.wsj.com/article/SB122939389438809445.html?mod=googlenews_wsj

Over here Democracy couldn't even beat tuneless indie dullards The Killers to the top of the album chart. A real whimper
