Quite simply some of the best games ever made, I've enjoyed them all right back from the first top down view one in 1997. I always though that Vice City was the greatest one what with it being set in the 80's and all.
I'm really looking forward to the new one, I've been reading some good shit about it, might finally break my Call Of Duty 4 addition!

I'm going to pre-order the fucker! cannot wait for this one Also remember that another Rockstar classic is out Friday - Bully, possibly one of the most overlooked game of the last few years, thought it was highly entertaining on the Playstation 2, so expect it to be just as great on the 360. According to Play my copy is being processed, had it pre-ordered for weeks.

I've only play GTA 3, Vice City, & San Andreas. I didn't play much of Vice City but it was great from what I did get to play. I love San Andreas. I decked my guy out with huge muscles, gun tattoos, & a beard. I cruised around listening to "Mother" by Danzig & busted some caps in all of the rival gangs. Riverside mutha fucka!

I have San Andreas and have 2 different saved games, the actual game I am playing and another strictly for cheat codes and mayhem. I enjoy zipping around on that motorcycle you get from the parking garage, listening to Katatonia and Anathema while I mow down Ballers and policemen. It is also fun to swim over to the other towns before the bridges are open and wreak havoc with their police and citizenry.
The story line pisses me off though. I don't really care about the struggles of gangbangers in early-90's LA.

I've played GTA, GTA II, GTA III, Vice City, San Andreas, Liberty City Stories and Vice City Stories, and I own III, Vice City, San Andreas and Vice City Stories. It's my favorite series with Final Fantasy. GTA III was great when it came in 2001, because it was my first PS2 game, I think. The best sandbox game of 2001. Lots of memories, too.
If I had PS3, I would buy GTA IV, as soon as Rockstar releases it.

Loved San Andreas, especially flying around in a jet pack, gunning civilians down.

I like both GTA3 and San Andreas, but none of the other GTAs can match Vice City, with its superior soundtrack, retroness, and a great and thrilling story. The hints to movies and tv shows like Scarface and Miami Vice are funny, and then you have all the hilarius charachters in the game, not one is boring.
The only thing i didnt like was that you cant go all the way to the top with fly or helicopter, at the highest buildings in Vice City.
