This is a pretty good science fiction film from 1983. It deals with the invention of a device which enables users to re-live the experiences of other people (an idea later "borrowed" for the film Strange Days). Inevitably this has some unpredictable experiences on some of the users, and it's violent potential is soon realised by the military. The film is probably best known for the mysterious death of Natalie Wood during production, which lead to some hasty and awkward re-writes which some claim spoil the film. But I contend this is an interesting film which is well worth watching for those who want a sci-film which deals with some thought provoking ideas and isn't afraid to explore them. It also has one of the best trailers I've ever seen: www.imdb.com/title/tt0085271/trailers-screenplay-E10718-314

Along with The Dead Zone (1983) and King Of New York (1990) this might be my favorite Christopher Walken flick.
Great cast by the way.
