Just got back from seeing Rambo. I had seen it already online but I wanted to turn over some $$$ in gratitude for Stallones hard work....plus I wanted to see the carnage on the big screen. It was a 3pm show and the theate was pretty full. Hope it hits #1 over here. I'll probably go see it again during the week. 10/10

Just back from seeing Rambo. The first time I've seen a Glasgow cinema going audience give a movie a standing ovation While I felt that the 'unflinching realistic portrayal of how violent atrocities really are' mixed wrapped up in a big dumb action movie was a bit tasteless, and misgivings I had were soon blown away in a barrage of exploding body parts and carnage. Hell, I suppose poorly-judged politcal commentary goes with the territory in Rambo films, right? (Rambo III dedicated to "The gallant people of Afghanistan" for example... : Simply put, this has more balls-to-the-wall violence than virtually any other action movie in a looong time. An absolute must see. Just don't sit too close to the screen - you'll walk out of the movie feeling like you are covered in blood, mud and exploded brain matter.

I'd also like to mention that the audience clapped in unison 3 seperate times (the first from a cheesy inspirational speech from Rambo, the applause started from a few guys drinking Buckfast at the front and rippled across the whole audience), and also that the 4 guys sitting in front of me were wearing red bandanas and vests I've never seen an audience all so into a film, honestly

Went and saw the late night 11:00 viewing last night with two mates, what an awesome film! the best action film in a long time, could have done with being a bit longer though, I just didn't want the action to stop. Superb!

I always hoped that Sly would have more luck behind the camera and become another Clint Eastwood. He's got a late start but it's still possible. That being said, I'd be happy if he churned out new sequels to his old hits until he's 100.

Rocky I and First Blood were it. The rest was slobbering, senseless babbling coming from his mouth. HORRIBLE SLY drew first blood, NOT me.
