Rocky I and First Blood were it. The rest was slobbering, senseless babbling coming from his mouth. HORRIBLE SLY drew first blood, NOT me. You`re kidding right?

With such mega-movies like Cobra, Lock Up, and Tango & Cash. Brilliant character's such as Frank Leone, Marion Cobretti, and of course Joseph Dredd. How can you say no to Stallone's Catalog of Fantastic proportions. Although Get Carter sucked.

Even the worst Stallone movie is ten times better than the latest Vin Diesel flick.
Sly gets a lot of stick about his acting but I think his scenes in Rocky Balboa were some of his best.
I also love how he didn't rely on good lucks or bad boy behaviour to get his big break. Sheer determination and belief in himself.
He did make some turds but who the hell hasn't. He's gotta feed the monkey...

Even the worst Stallone movie is ten times better than the latest Vin Diesel flick. Ain't that the goddamn truth!! Vin Diesel sucks massive penis Stallone Is fine actor. One of Sly's finest acting pieces in my opinion,is in Demolition Man. He is very relaxed and seems like he's having fun in that role. Stallone is always great in Rocky movies as well. He's fine writer and director too, so Sly is man of many talents

Stallone is the fucking man. this last year since the brilliant new rambo and rocky films, hes now my favourite actor. he can make complete rubbish like over the top highly entertaining, or he can make rocky, copland or first blood. thats called versatity. also his script writing of over the top macho sentimental statements is second to none.
the world is a better place for him. i love the fact that him and arnold are best mates. they go drinking and smoking cigars every weekend. to be there with them would be a dream ticket.

In my opinion, Stallone's best role and best film by quality ever is CopLand. An EXCELLENT movie and totally incredible, featuring an all-star cast of basically half of Hollywood in it including Mr. White and T-1000. Just brilliant.

I saw some of it and it seemed okay. The way he takes care of the main bad guy is a lot like how he disposed of one bad guy in Cliffhanger.
Like Vigilante said, I thought his acting in Rocky Balboa was his best work in years. Emotional, heartfelt, yet gutsy and with that same amount of determination he had in the first Rocky film.
And Rambo has got to be THE best action movie in years! The fact that stuck-up, po-faced critics like Mark Kermode and the Daily Mail brigade slagged it off justifies its classic status.
If Sly does another Rambo film, I hope he sets it in an African country where our bandana'd hero has to take on a Mugabe-like dictator. I'd pay to see THAT!
In all honesty, I know he's revered for his Rockys, Rambos and Cobra, but I would have loved to see him and Billy Dee Williams do a sequel to Nighthawks back in the mid-'80s. It was impossible because it was a flop, but it would have been cool if they DID do a follow-up, with another title. They could have had a plot where they deal with a new terrorist threat, but instead of two killers like the first one, they deal with a group of them and have to take them down.
That would have been worth watching. Someone like Steven E. de Souza or Shane Black could have written the script.

Stallone is in talks with MGM concerning a remake of Death Wish in which Stallone will direct and star. I really don't know how to feel about this.

I'd rather have Sly helm the Death Wish remake and not someone like Michael Bay.
