Not particularly strong or smart or mean, just cool. Steve McQueen represents the essence of cool in the world of cinematic tough guys. He was also one of those guys, like Eastwood and Bronson, that seemed to be as cool of camera as well. Recommended Viewing: Bullitt The Getaway The Magnificent Seven The Great Escape Hell is for Heroes (just watched this one)

The Bearded One actually gave Steve McQueen martial arts lessons at his dojo back in the 70s. That officially puts the man in my Cool Book.
