I know there have to be some Romero fans around here. I know I'm one.
George is my all-time favourite director. He's directed some of my favourites...Night of the Living Dead, Dawn of the Dead, Day of the Dead, Creepshow, The Crazies, Martin(his best non-Dead film), Knightriders(really long but a cool movie), Bruiser(underrated), & The Crazies.
I still have yet to see The Dark Half but I own it. I haven't seen Monkey Shines since I was a kid but will have to do so soon.

I've been a Romero geek ever since I saw Night of the Living Dead when it was televised on its 30th Anniversary.
Romero is a cinematic genius and sure knows how to entertain the zombie-freak in all of us. I just wonder if he's going to comply with the Weinsteins about their plans for Diary of the Dead 2.

Romero actually came to my town for a screening of Night of the Living Dead. At the time I wasn't as big of a fan of his (in fact I really only liked that one movie) and I didn't own any films of his so I had nothing for him to sign which I regret. Now I'm a much bigger fan of his. I LOVE Dawn of the Dead which at the time I had seen once and for some reason didn't like. I also love his take on vampires with Martin. I think that movie should be more well known when it comes to classic vampire films. Knightriders is a very unique movie at the very least. I mean its 3 hours of dudes on motorcycles re-enacting Arthurian battles. I actually liked it, but it sure is a one of a kind movie. The Crazies is also pretty good.
Unfortunately I did not enjoy Day of the Dead and nor did I enjoy Land of the Dead. I didn't even bother seeing Diary of the Dead and by now I'm just hoping that his next movie doesn't involve the words of the dead. Although I did like that Diamond Dead concept that he kept talking about years ago. I'd totally see that Rock N Roll Zombie movie if he made it!

Good to see another fan of Martin here. More people need to check out that gem. It's a great movie.
