raiders is the best film quality wise, but my personal favourite is temple of doom. it was one of the first films i ever saw at the cinema. things i like: - the whole 'kali mar! kali mar!' 'oh no shabay, oh no shabay' heart removal scene. - in a none too subtle nod to the first film, indy going for his gun and trying to shoot a showboating swordsman and finding its not there. - the banquet scene - the ludicrousness of it all. having seen the trailer for the new film, i can only assume its going to be a 'the mummy-esque' display of ILM wankery. only a glowing report from someone on here will get me to see it. I'm with Chenney, I can't say I'm excited about the new Indiana Jones, especially after finding that it had Shia LaBeouf in it. In terms of the original trilogy, they were all fantastic, but my vote goes to Last Crusade. Connery and Ford compliment each other brilliantly! Not to mention the fight scene between Tip Tipping and Connery.

The Last Crusade is my favorite Indy film. To me it has everything an Indy film should have, which is plenty of action, most pre-World War II-ish, most traveling, and of course Sean Connery.
My hopes are very high for Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull

This is turning into a pretty even poll which is a testament to how good the Indiana Jones series is.
Listening to the soundtrack to Crystal Skull I'm convinced I can hear musical cues from E.T. especially in the last track - Finale.....
