Ive had the first season of this on dvd for ages, its absolutely brilliant. full of classic david lynch weirdness and absolutely absorbing. Kyle mcclachlan and his love of coffee, pie and the taste sensation when maple syrup collides with ham is brilliant, and sherilyn fenn is stunning.
Ive just discovered the whole second season online and have been smashing through it. I had heard that the second season wasn’t as good, but it has been brilliant so far.
SPOILERS
The episode when they finally capture Leland in the jail cell at the end Is some of the best ive ever seen.

the second season gets a lot of bashing and I do not really know why. some say that Lynch was not hands on enough during that season but I thought it was damn good. sure it gets a little "X Files" at the end but what the hell.
all in all, Twin Peaks is one of my favorite shows. the best shows only have a few seasons anyway. after that the premise becomes stale. it deserves to be more popular but to be honest, I would tire of it if Lynch were Tarantino status.
where did you find the second season at Chenny? I loved that opening when Leland was in the interrogation room and they focused deep within the wall.
me likes.

I've just bought the first series on DVD. It's £10 in Zavvi or whatever Virgin call themselves now UK bargin fans!
They did (finally) get around to releasing the second series on DVD last year, but there is no UK release date.
Some of Lynch's work alienates me, but I did really enjoy Fire Walk With Me.

One of my favorite shows. It's on Netflix instant so I finally got a chance to check it out. Great stuff! I'm almost done with season two.
