Actors switching roles every movie. Rolling away after being hit by a tank unhurt. An on-set explosion caused by stock footage of a plane. Names like Mac, Skip, Hutch and Vickers. If you've seen them you know what I'm talking about. If you haven't I can't possibly explain. A hallmark of Channel 5 before they went shit, or stopped being shit enough anyway. 4 is the "best", 2 and 5 are tough going even for me. The first 4 films bundled together was possibly the best £1.99 (first hand) I ever spent.

One of these (I think the second one) was on TV over here in the middle of a Chuck Norris marathon. Some network suit dumbshit must have thought it was one of the Delta Force gems. I wish I would have watched it now after reading your description.

Never watched those but they seem pure Nu Image style.

Scarily in those days they might have been Nu Image's "prestige" pictures!

No they were already making "bigger" movies (with names attached at least...)

I didn't know that. I remember being shocked when I heard they were attached to Rambo IV and a Bruce Willis movie.

I caught one of these on channel 5 back in the day when they used to show tons of action and horror films every night. I remember it being good cheesy fun.
I might have to pick that dvd pack up.

They look like really bad movies, but bad movies often become good movies

I've always preferred the Chuck Norris Delta Force movies over these films. Are these more accurate than the Delta Force movies or are they a completely different story?
