Otherwise known as Who Dares Wins in the UK. First saw it on video in '99 and the last half an hour is one of the best ever with terrorists being slayed, left right and centre. Lewis Collins was superb as the lantern-jawed Peter Skellen who infiltrates the baddies. A great cast, including The Equalizer himself, Ingrid Pitt, Richard Widmark and Judy Davis.

Great film, certainly one of the few non-Bond British action movies that really stand out. Often dirt cheap too.

Great film, certainly one of the few non-Bond British action movies that really stand out. Often dirt cheap too. It's a pity they never properly remastered this on DVD, as it could do with top grade treatment. Extras would have been a bonus, such as a commentary from Lewis Collins, director Ian Sharp and producer Euan Lloyd and a documentary about the making of the film.

You do know that Lewis Collins was actually in 21 SAS (Artists Rifles), the Territorial Army special forces regiment? It was gently "suggested" that he leave when his acting career began to take off. I can imagine him standing on a table in the Chelsea Barracks NAAFI sloshing his pint around and giving the crotch chops to all the pygmies without film deals below him. That might have got a bit annoying. You know how narrow-minded squaddies can be.
Lewis Collins. Christ, what a man.

Yes, I was reading about his little adventure with the SAS yesterday. He and this movie both look awesome. Over here in the States it seems to be called Who Dares Wins.
