monsterkidclassichorrorforum.yuku.com/topic/20490Harrison Ford played Indiana Jones in a recent film-the fourth time he has done so since 1981, 27 years ago. This may set a record vis a vis a thriller star reprising a role so many years after having first played it. However, Ford's return to Indiana Jones shows a common trend-many of the thriller stars of the 1970's and 1980's have since advanced into their 60's and older. I recall a newspaper article mocking how these men still do scenes with no shirt on (though it pointed out that Charles Bronson, already 53 when the first Death Wish came out in 1974, anticipated this trend).

Sylvester Stallone did another Rocky movie featuring him in all of his boxing glory wearing the trunks with no shirt on. At least in Rambo 4 he kept himself covered. I also heard he got busted for steroids while filming Rambo 4.

Bruce Willis's turn as John McClaine in Live Free or Die Hard is proof that some franchises are just better off dead instead of being resurrected. Doesn't seem to be stopping Van Damme from revisiting some of his other characters though: Luc Deverough, Chad & Alex, and Frank Dux. At least Chuck Norris is letting Col. Braddock stay down.
