Every little thing they do is magic, every little thing just kills the huns.
Countless dead nazis, Richard Burton's unlikely physical efforts, the cable car fight, great theme, Schloss Adler, bleached SS bastard, Ingrid Pitt, Broadsword and Danny Boy, if you don't like it,
SIT DOWN, COLONEL!

this is truly a work of brilliance. burton as the superspy mastermind with the clipped english accent and eastwood as well err clint eastwood. mowing down hordes of nazis.
i love how they both have a large-ish sports bag when they infiltrate the schloss addler, and yet seem to be carrying enough explosives to destroy half a town, a castle, a cable car station, numerous trees and 2 bridges.

Thank you for those few kind words
I think we need Burton & Eastwood smilies.

A great movie for Clint Eastwood fans. Not only is he not given top billing but he also gets to kill more people than all of the Dirty Harry movies combined. The scene where he's holding two machine guns is amazing.

Pretty awesome movie. In my opinion it's most notable for the body count that Clint racks up towards the end. It's just amazing! Also, I really like the song Where Eagles Dare by Iron Maiden. Clearly a homage to this film.
