I know that Mark Hamill's Joker in the animated series was awesome but I wanted to keep this as a live action question. Who was the man who taught the Batman to lighten up the best?

Jack Nicholson`s Joker all the way. "Haven't you ever heard of the healing power of laughter?"

I loved the wildness of Caesar Romero in the original Batman, especially how strange it was that he refused to shave his moustache and just had it painted over.
However, Nicholson gets my vote. I grew up with that movie on tape.

Nicholson out of the choices listed above but overall, I like Mark Hamill the best.

Mark Hamill for me too.I could listen his manical laughter all day.
I really can't choose between Jack and Heath. Both gave great performances.
