One of the leanest, meanest and toughest thrillers you'll ever see from this legendary decade. The location photography is stunningly gorgeous with mountains, rivers and forests in full panaromic view, the tension can be cut with a knife and at the end of the day, there is a moral behind all the madness, as pointed out by that police officer before the end credits roll. Both Reynolds and Voight should have won Oscars for this realistic actioner which sadly missed out on the Best Picture gong. Everybody remembers this for the Duelling Banjos and 'squeal like a pig!' Awesome!
