Hobo is an awesome film. Even has Ricky from Trailer Park Boys in it!
Walken is a god, and Max Zorin one of his best roles ever - I imagine he IS basically Max Zorin in real life if I'm honest. My mates and myself used to watch the best clips of Zorin every week before going out drinking, then spend the night drunk, pulling the same Zorin faces at each other etc. Sad, but I bet you all understand.

Money Train was excellent. Zombieland is a great cult classic. Defendor is on my wishlist and I just recently got Natural Born Killers. But, yeah, Woody can do action.

King Of New York is one of Walken's best movies with lots of action and suspense.

Money Train was excellent. Zombieland is a great cult classic. Defendor is on my wishlist and I just recently got Natural Born Killers. But, yeah, Woody can do action. Defendor is a great vigilante flick and I must say I enjoyed it a whole lot more than Kick Ass or Super. Also check out Elias Koteas as the bad cop. King of New York is fucking awesome, I never understand why people seem to forget this classic when it comes to gangster films. Greatest thing David Caruso ever did!

What happened to Val Kilmer? In the mid 90s the guy was in a lot of big movies and some really great ones like "Heat (1995)", "Tombstone (1993)" and "Thunderheart (1992)". I also thought he did an OK job as Batman and Bruce Wayne in "Batman Forever (1995)" sadly the film itself was not that good, but I guess he don't regret that he missed out on doing "Batman & Robin (1997). Now days I see him in more direct-to-video titles teamed up with fantastic actors such as 50 cent but I think he did a good part in "The Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans (2009)" even though his role wasn't very big.

I agree. I think Kilmer`s a really decent actor but has seemed to have fallen out of popularity for whatever reason, he`s got the reputation rightly or wrongly for being diffcult so that could be it. I`ll go out on a whim and admit I enjoy The Island Of Dr Moreau without a hint of irony.

Purchased "Streets of Blood (2009)" and "The Traveler (2010)" last week and they are your ordinary Direct-to-video b-movie material with fading stars such as Val himself, Sharon Stone and 50 Cent.
I remember "The Island Of Dr Moreau" mostly because I had a thing for Fairuza Balk, but the film itself was far better than what the critics said of it to be.
Director Richard Stanley (Hardware and Dust Devil) had written a screenplay and was ready to shoot "The Island Of Dr Moreau" but he got canned after only a couple of days.
From Wikipedia: Stanley's next project was the third major movie version of the H. G. Wells novel The Island of Doctor Moreau for New Line Cinema in 1996. Stanley originally wrote the screenplay for the $35 million dollar The Island of Dr. Moreau remake, but following a tumultuous first few days of shooting he was relieved of directorial duties. Stanley's script was re-worked by a new team of writers and the final product bears little resemblance to his original work.

Christopher Lambert had a pretty good run with some fine action films in the 80s and early 90s. Haven't seen much of him lately but I guess when your wife is Sophie Marceau then that's a pretty good excuse to not making any more films. Some of his best movies: Highlander (1986) Highlander II: The Quickening (1991) Gunmen (1992) Fortress (1993) Nirvana (1997)
