How about some love for New Line Cinema's 80s action classic, Quiet Cool? Hardcore New York City cop Joe Dylanne (James Remar, The Warriors, Sex and the City) is out of the city and in the middle of a nightmarish death trap in this action-packed thriller! When former girlfriend Kate (Daphne Ashbrook, The O.C.) calls in desperation, Joe travels to a deceptively quiet Northern California town to investigate the disappearance of her brother and sister-in-law. He learns from Kate's nephew, Joshua, that the two were brutally murdered by a ruthless ring of marijuana growers. Determined to seek his revenge, Joshua is engaged in a one-man guerrilla war against the thugs. But when Kate is killed in the crossfire, Joe and Joshua join forces for a final explosive confrontation that only one side can win! From an electrifying motorcycle chase through the subways of New York to a shattering climax deep in the heart of the Pacific Northwest, Quiet Cool roars hellbent for action... and revenge!I really dig the theme song from this one. The soundtrack was released on LP, but so far, I have yet to come across a decent quality MP3 rip of the main theme. A few people have ripped it from the VHS or DVD, though. Anyway, this one got any fans?
