Steven Van Zandt is Frank Tagliano, a former New York gangster who agrees to give up his former colleagues to make a deal with the feds. But instead of spending the rest of his life on a warm island surrounded by beautiful women, he ends up in a small town called Lillehammer in Norway.
Now who the hell wants to live in freezing Lilyhammer?
It turns out that Frank was somehow a fan of the Winter Olympics in 1994, so he thought to himself this might be a fine place to live.
Even though there might be some trouble when it comes to the cultural differences and the fact that he is no longer a feared gangster with power and money, Frank haven't forgotten where he came from and anybody that tries to get in his way of doing business is going to learn that the hard way! From wikipedia: Lilyhammer is a Norwegian-American television series, starring Steve Van Zandt, about a New York gangster trying to start a new life in far away Lillehammer in Norway. The first season premiered on Norwegian NRK1 on 25 January 2012. With a record audience of 998,000 viewers (one fifth of Norway's population), and will premiere on Netflix in the United States, Latin America and Canada on February 6, 2012, with all eight episodes being available in full on the server for streamingI have only seen two episodes and I liked them a lot. Its not The Sopranos on holiday or anything, but its a fun show and I love watching Steven Van Zandt kick ass.

Just finished watching season 1 and while it got off with a promising start the show went down very fast in quality. The ending was rather boring and if they make a second season I hope that they bring in some more action and less comedy.
