Tough, unrelenting and unstoppable The Terminator is far and away Arnold`s best film. Brilliant stuff. T2 is good but it`s not a patch on the original, I prefer Arnie the bad guy.
What do you fella`s reckon?

I agree entirely. The first was a total revolution at the time. It just blew me away it was so good. Arnie is a top five villain of all time.
Waited ages for the sequel and didn't like the gimmicks and the whole family friendly vibe. Don't kill anyone?! Are you fucking joking? That's what he does!

Its' actually quite a scary film in a way, the part at the end where he is chasing Sarah Conner through the factory, although it sounds a little dated now, the soundtrack really makes that scene.

The Terminator score has to be one of the best I've ever heard. It's dated due to all of the synth but I could care less about that. It works & just enhances every scene that it's in.
Hats off to ya, Brad Fiedel.

Yeah i love this film, definitely in my top 3 of all time. I agree with Will, a huge part of The Terminator died thanks to John Connors moralistic meddling. The police station scene is surely one of the all time greats. "The 45 lohhng slide wit laser sighting"

Thanks for posting that, Dutch. Cool article.
My favourite scene in the whole movie is the Tech-Noir scene. Cool music, bulldyke "ticket taker" or whatever she is, amazing music, Arnold breaking a guy's hand, & the shootout. Awesome scene.

Anyone remember the scene where Arnie is busting up Gingers house, and she is listening to that song on her walkman
"Intimacy, intimacy, ya ya ya ya" ;D

I know, I don`t think he even got one punch in either. I love how Lance Henriksen`s always trying to tell a story and get`s cut off half way through. "There was this guy once you see this scar..."
