Rick Rossovich is awesome as Matt in The Terminator. He really gives Arnold quite a fight if one compares to the other victims in the movie.
Does anyone know if there are any dates for a possible Blu-ray release for Terminator here in Europe? Have been thinking about giving it as gift to my little brother who is a huge fan of the film.
As for The Terminator beside the Tech-Noir shoot out scene, I always enjoyed the future war flashes that Kyle Reese have.
Very nightmarish. Its dark and gritty, women crying, children killing rats for a living and you get to see how low humans have gone.
That scene where you see the infiltrator cyborgs eyes glowing in the dark while killing every body, that scared me pretty good when I first saw it.

I still wish Cameron would've done a futuristic Terminator flick that had the bleak, desolate, dark, and gritty feel of the future flashbacks from The Terminator.

I still wish Cameron would've done a futuristic Terminator flick that had the bleak, desolate, dark, and gritty feel of the future flashbacks from The Terminator. In the mid 90's I remember I used to love reading Terminator comics that set place in the future after the nuclear war. Some of the stories was very in touch with the future flashbacks of Kyle Reese in Terminator 1. So when years later a third Terminator film was in motion I was so hyped up that I actually had dreams where I would sit in the cinema and watch Terminator 3 as I hoped it would turn out to be, with a grim and dark futuristic atmosphere going on. Here's the future war clips from James Cameron's films. The older John Connor with a scar looks like a real bad ass. Just imagine how great it would be if Cameron one day comes back and decides to do a future war Terminator film. Ridley Scott is doing a new Alien flick, so maybe there's hope?

I read some Terminator comics in the 1990s too. Not too many but I remember them being called Cybernetic Dawn and Nuclear Twilight or something like that.

I love the cover of the steelbook! I wonder if it's a whole new edition, the same as the one we have here in the States, or if it's something new. The version we have here isn't really anything to write home about. Basically it's an upgraded port of the special edition DVD and the transfer is only slightly better.

The one thing I hate about Blu-Rays are the horrible blue movie covers, but for once the steelbook of The Terminator is looking great.
I have maybe 4-5 different DVD and VHS releases of The Terminator and I hope that an upgraded versions with maybe some new bonus material etc will be included.
