BodieCI5 - It was on the other night on the uncut season on either movies4men or the horror channel, I can't remember which. But it had all those scenes in it, so it was definitely the uncut version. "You want da sheets...?" Yep, I remember now. Pity it had adverts in between, but it was great seeing it on British TV, although I reckon it would have been equally at home on ITV4 as well, although it would probably be a bit too dark for that channel. I can remember seeing a TV listing that showed Exterminator 2 being on Bravo one weekday night, back when it was worth watching.

I know I've seen number two - it had Mario Van Peebles in it, IIRC? (I've not IMDB'd it), but I seem to remember it was way too over the top and not very good.
I have to say that I was thrilled that Exterminator really was like Hovis - as good today as its always been.
Sure the baddies looked more camp than tough in their berets and cut off leather jackets, but aside from that, it held up pretty well.
I googled old Steve James as I was watching it and was really upset to find he passed away a while back.

The Exterminator was one of his first ever movies and he would again work with James Glickenhaus in The Soldier and McBain. There is a very good site on Steve James on the 'net. Google in Steve James - actor and you will come across Ninja Steve James which has lots of rare pictures and articles about him.
In his audio commentary, Glickenhaus said that he would make another film like The Exterminator today if he still had it in him. He said he had no qualms about doing another low-budget thriller. IMHO The Exterminator is better than Death Wish.
