Hey, shit, I forgot about those! I still have all those cartoons, including the Jiver one I did as a finale.

Those little comics are classic. My favorite is the one with Frank Bauggs goin' right out the window.
I was watching Death Wish 3 last night and realized some more wierd stuff throughout the course of the picture:
In the beginning, Bronson steps-off the bus, accompanied by this wierd "wwwwwwwrrrrrrrryyyyyyyooooowwwwwww..." sound. He goes to the payphone and we here the same "wwwwwwwrrrrrrrryyyyyyyooooowwwwwww..." sound again. Chuck leaves the bus station and AGAIN that "wwwwwwwrrrrrrrryyyyyyyooooowwwwwww..." sound plays! What on earth was Jimmy Page smoking when he made the music to this film?
Also, it seems that we are treated to almost 5 or 6 different shots of Officer Shriker looking back over his shoulder in a closeup. Strange, no?

Eeyyyyyyy, pondscum!
One of my favorite lines in cinematic history is "They had no business doing that. None." It is so deadpan and ridiculous. I use it as often as I can in everyday conversation, so does my mother. As a matter of fact, earlier this evening she suggested we have a Death Wish marathon and watch all 5 back-to-back. Be sure to RSVP with the Kaprov's on the first floor.
Nice man.

The one with the stocking-headed rapist dude from DW4 should go like this: I'm doing a Death Wish 2 banner for the board right now. I got my new graphics tablet going and it's made masking/selecting/painting/etc. a breeze in Photoshop.

I can't wait for the Death Wish II banner, Haag!
I hope it's full of Stomper goodness.

Is the cop's partner in DW4 the only post-mortem one-liner in the whole series? -I can be really nasty if I want to. BANG -So can I. Bronson was always the quiet killer. Fuck talk. He learned from Eli Wallach that it's always best to shoot rather than talk up a storm in your gunfights. You'd never know he was coming. Anyway, pre-mortem one-liners were more his thing: "Do you believe in Jesus? ?" ;D EDIT: Death Sentence was fucking great. Kevin Bacon took a great tough guy turn and the violence is gritty and satisfying. I'm sure anyone else that's seen it would agree with me. It even has a very subtle Death Wish 3 reference.

I don't know that I caught that reference. Could you enlighten me?

It's sort of thin, but both characters are under police surveillance and has a cop follow him around everywhere. Both characters visit a key character in a hospital, and escape police surveillance to exact some final brutal justice by climbing out the hospital window. The cops rush in too late and the character is gone. It's pretty much repeated action-per-action.

I thought it was going to be something like "Kevin Bacon tries to buy an ice cream cone"

An ECU of a Custer painting and some bugle-type music would have done it for me.
Glad you like the banner, Tatts, I wasn't too sure about it at first.

I kinda like the firetruck in DW3, you would think a prestigious filmmaking company like Cannon could get a f-truck newer than 1947
