I remember making the Jesus creep. I completely forgot about the Vincent DW IV one. They make me laugh. Would have been funny if that was how the scene was edited for the movie. "Tits out to here.....( shank!!!)." ;D

Alien Bronson is the thing of legends! Still as funny as ever! I haven't talked to Vig since around the time "shit" went down on Commando Fans before the board and site got nuked from orbit. I'm still in touch with most of The Old Guard, however. Still talk to Voelk pretty regularly about Steve Grimmett.

Anybody grab the Death Wish 2-4 Blus yet? I grabbed Death Wish 3 a few weeks ago. Looks pretty decent thus far when I skimmed through it. No special features aside from the trailer though.

Recently picked up the Blus of Death Wish 2 & 4. Now we need Paramount to release the first and Lionsgate to release Death Wish V!

I`ve just heard this sad news myself, apparently he was quite ill in his later years. I love the Death Wish movies he did (obviously) but it`s worth mentioning that he directed The Mechanic and Chato`s Land which were two of Mr.Bronson`s best. He may well have made some dreadful ones too but he always seemed like an interesting character. Let`s not forget this classic advert. Michael " " Winner. 1935 - 2013.

Whats this talk of Bruce Willis being involved in a Death Wish remake?? Liam Neeson would of got my vote. Knowing that both Eli Roth and Bruce Willis (who's been more or less sleepwalking (through most of his films for the past 10-15 years, except for maybe Sin City and 16 Block) are the ones responsible for putting Paul Kersey back on the big screen, that alone make my expecations very low, even though I hope for the best. Liam Neeson would have fitted the bill perfectly back in 2006-07, but then he hit it big with Taken, and have went on to maybe played that role a bit too far stretched the last 7-8 years, and I had hoped that names such as Kurt Russell, Arnold, Sly or Mel Gibson would fill the legendary shoes of Charles Bronson, but if a great looking trailer/teaser comes out this spring, maybe my hopes can be restored back a bit. Back in 2006-07 there were some heavy rumours that Sly Stallone was going to star and direct in an updated version of Death Wish (1974), but it never happened. Instead we got several vigilante themed films popping up around the same period, such as The Brave One (2007) (Death Wish with a female character), Death Sentence (2007), Defendor (2009), Harry Brown (2009), and of course the Taken series with Liam Neeson. I always loved the gritty vigilante flicks of the 70s and early 80s and the thought of having Paul Kersey coming back to clean up the streets once more was exciting, especially if they got the right man to do the part. From the wikipage: "A mild-mannered father is transformed into a killing machine after his family is torn apart by a violent act."
This is what I fear, that the film is too far rushed into making Paul Kersey turning to a perfect killing machine (but without the comedy and hilarious, memorable bad guys of the later Death Wish sequels), instead it just ends up looking like every other new vigilante movie of the past 8-10 years or so. What I enjoyed with the first Death Wish film is that Bronson came off as an vulnerable and confused man, very unlike the "perfect" killing machine in the later films, who was just slaughtering bad guys for fun like its not big deal. I miss that with most vigilante/revenge films these days, they are just too "pretty" and clean with no real atmosphere, and you almost never sense that the "hero" is in any danger. Anyway, I still notice that Sly Stallone is mentioned as one of the films three producers, so maybe he has a bit of influence on the final product.
