dang, I never realized the amount of bullets fired in the whole series. Death Wish 3 takes up half of the entire first video--exactly why it's the best in the series.

That video and the second part are pretty rad. I don't care much for the music used but the videos are still cool.
I'd like to see a video of all soccer ball related deaths in movies...it'd probably just be that clip from Death Wish V being played over & over.

It's nothing great but not too bad either. Isn't Tulio the hilarious guy with the dreadlocks?

amctv.com has a poll to vote for your favourite male movie hero. As of right now guess who's in the lead? Paul Kersey! I don't expect this to last too long but I do expect everyone here to vote to keep him as high as possible. blogs.amctv.com/future-of-classic/2008/04/your-favorite-movie-hero.php UPDATE - You can vote more than once. And you don't have to fill all 20 slots so you can throw Bronson in there and vote 5 times to boost his rating.

Before I voted he was originally at 7th. It took me about 35 votes to boost his spot on top of the mountain of Action Heroes.

I love all of them. I can't believe I only started watching about a year ago, along with most of Bronson's other movies and he's become a favorite of mine. I was too young to see most of his movies when they cam out, though I always loved action movies.
I'm new here and I love this forum. Thank you for putting it up.
Have you guys ever seen the uncut version of DW2? I got it from Australia-little more violent in a few scenes. Wonderful.

That shitbag that said that he is getting sick of the DW movies needs to be paid a visit by the ghost of Bronson for spouting such obscene blasphemy.

My fondness for Death Wish II has grown exponentially in recent years. In fact, when I think about watching a Bronson film, it's the one I'm most likely to grab off the shelf. High praise indeed.
I love the fact that Kersey doesn't care if the attackers understand his motive for revenge. He doesn't go around saying, "Hey, remember me?" or asking, "You know why I'm doing this, right?" Instead, when he corners a punk, he just distills his vengeance down to its lowest-common denominator: "Good-bye."
This is basically the film where we see the Vigilante turn pro. He steps up his game and killing becomes second nature to him. When he's nearly busted by the girlfriend, it's just a reminder that he needs to change the locks. And when he's socializing, he's already thinking about the next time he'll go out and shoot some people.
Unlike the random nature of the original, the killings here are methodical and businesslike. I'm really not even sure Kersey has an exit strategy when he goes after Nirvana (either time). The guy just needs to be killed, so that's what Kersey is going to do. Simple as that.
Overall, Bronson made 90-something films in his career, and this is the only one that he did specifically for me. So I could be more than a little biased here.

I'm currently reading through Bronson's Loose! The Making of the Death Wish Films. So far, it's a very good & informative read. I'm only on the chapter about the first Death Wish film at the moment so I'm not that far in. Can't wait to read about the sequels. The book itself is kind of short but looks to be full of a ton of information. I believe that the author, Paul Talbot, was a member Vig's Death Wish Files message board. I miss that place.

Great book, absolutely devoured the thing when I got into the Death Wish series in the summer of 06. I really miss Death Wish Files, not least as I never got round to downloading all the soundtracks.
