You're welcome. I'm reading about Death Wish II in Bronson's Loose! & just came across a part where one of Bronson's brothers, who was a homeless alcoholic, stopped by the set. Bronson would slip him some cash. He was later found dead in a sleazy room after being fatally stabbed in the ass. That's kind of funny yet sad at the same time.

Bronson's Loose is an awesome book. I couldn't wait to order a hard copy, so I opted to buy the pdf version instead. Unfortunately, I ended up losing the file when I switched PCs. I definitely need to get my hands on a physical copy soon.
Btw, the AMC channel is going to be paying tribute to Death Wish this weekend, as a celebration of the film's 35th anniversary. I doubt anyone here would want to settle for watching the edited versions, but it's a good excuse to dust off the dvds.

Does anyone know when Bronson's Loose! came out? If it's before roughly 1987 then I'll have to order it online since my bookstore is very specific about the books they carry and year of release, etc.
I know this is a stupid question, but is DW5 worth buying? I only saw the beginning and the exploding soccer ball scene on cable TV and was curious if there's any more treasure in that film to be seen?

It came out in 2006, I believe.
Personally, I love Death Wish V. I don't know about anyone else here though.

I love V too. How can anyone not love a film with that dandruff cure? Nice score too.

I love Bronson's sadistic smile when he kills Freddy Flakes with the ball.
"Hey Freddie! I've got a cure for your dand-rough problem!"

I like the first three movies but have yet to see the other two, are they worth picking up?

Fuckin' A they're worth picking up! DW4 is my 2nd favorite in the series behind DW3 and V is so terrible it's hilarious. It's got the cure for Dand-rough, a poison cannoli, and Bronson dating a woman young enough to be his granddaughter.
Special mention to the bad guy with the voice of Claw from Inspector Gadget.
"All riiiight!"
"He's history"

Death Wish 4 has become my favourite of the series. Charles Bronson tells us who the fuck he is aka Death, he uses the uhhh toilet, & he makes a sandwich.
Exploding wine bottles & Danny Trejo too. Can't go wrong.
