I hear Sylvester Stallone wants to remake Deathwish, never been a fan of remakes personally, but I would most likely check it out.
Anyway, back to the originals, I've only seen the first and third film, I picked up the third one after reading all you lot talking about it on the old board ;D

I'd still like to see Stallone do a sequel to Cliffhanger. Judging by how he's titleing his current sequels, I'm sure they'd be titled "Ray Quick," "Gabe Walker," and "Marion Cobrette." I still cannot fathom how DW3 writer Don Jakoby thought up such a brilliantly wierd villain like Manny Fraker.

I didn't watch any of the Death Wish movies until Vig told us about them a few years back. I think I saw DW2 first. As soon as I saw that bullet pass through the ghetto-blaster and into Fishburne's face, I was hooked. I ordered both 2 and 3 off of Amazon and caught the first one when it was on TV. I bought the DW5 from a used store and purchased the DW4 to round out my collection about a year and a half ago.
DW3 is my favorite. Everything about it is brilliant and this is a well-known fact around here so I won't preach to the choir. DW5 is a tad painful to watch but it has its moments, the poisoned cannoli and the Dandrough mannequin blast being among the funniest.

I didn't see these movies until about two years ago(I need kicked for not seeing them sooner) when I heard everyone talking about how great they were back on the old CF forums. Death Wish II was the first one I saw. Then DW 4, then DW, then DW 3, & finally Death Wish V after Vig sent me one of his extra copies(thanks again buddy). Death Wish 3 was initially my favourite but Death Wish 4 has been pushing it out of the number one spot as of late. Making a sandwich, how many children have you killed with this shit, "Nathan White" & his gold chains, "Nathan White's" death, NiiiiiickkkkkK!, etc. It's just too hilarious.

I watched most of Death Wish V on amc yesterday. That scene where Bronson cures Freddy Flakes's dandruff with the soccerball is hilarious.
"Hey Freddy! I've got a cure for your dand rough problem!" *BOOM!*

Death Wish V is an underrated gem. I love that movie.
The bald creep at the end with the Dr. Claw voice is gold.

All five films have their own unique character. There's something to appreciate in each one. Going in I expected watching 4 and 5 to be a chore. Sometimes I'm an idiot.

Things I love about Death Wish 3: Even though Bronson has an entire arsenal of mail-order weaponry - including a LAW tube - he declines to offer one to Rodriguez even though he only has a zip gun made out of a piece of pipe. The synchronised scowl-and-turn the creeps do at the end, betraying their stage-school training. "Mrs Rodriquez has expired" In fact, Rodriguez is one of my favourite things about the movie. The most significant thing he does is run alongside Bronson carrying a cardboard box full of link, and offer his wife up as a plot development - "Ahhhh, Marieeeeee-aaaa" "Lenme five dollahs, sucka!" Michael Winner's fantastic direction - witness the cut where Eli Kaprov turns from the window. Winner transforms a simple motion into a 300 degree swivel. The city folk who fight back and murder three guys on motorcycles, then begin leaping around like apes in celebration. "Yeah, yeah, yeah" guy. The fat black biker dude with the purple bandana
